Affinity Space is an experimental design studio based in Caserta, Italy. We merge and expand the background, technological skills, and creativity of young professionals in the field of design innovation.
Our Designers have a T-Shaped skills profile that makes the studio capable of providing a wide range of solutions in the design, innovation, and engineering fields.
Affinity Space’s mission is to create valuable, disruptive, and innovative solutions by applying the correct design methodologies, emerging technologies, and applied research.
We have a dynamic, flexible, and interdisciplinary way of working that provides us with a high level of adaptability necessary for today’s challenges.
Jesus is one of the founding members of affinity space. Over the past years, he has been gathering experiences in different fields seeking an opportunity to build a space where innovation, research, and creative thinking converge.
As a professional design engineer, Jesus’s portfolio of work includes performance engineering, consumer good projects, interactive experiences, experimental research, automotive product development, and physical products. Jesus holds a master of science in design and engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a bachelor of science in mechatronics engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Former member of the MIT Design Lab and ME310 Design Innovation at Stanford University. He is a methodological designer dedicated to explore, experiment, design and transform ideas into new products and experiences.
He strongly believes that innovation, sustainability, research, and technology should coexist and shape product development choices, this is the flame that moves his work and the projects of the Studio.
His expertise covers the areas of industrial product design, design for communication, graphic design, physical prototyping, and CG. Fabrizio holds a master of science in Design and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a bachelor of science in Design and Communication from Università degli Studi della Campania. Being part of HUB’s Makerspace and Satyendra Pakhalé Associates Design Studio in Amsterdam, are among his most relevant working experiences.
